Natalia Lodge is a Kokstad bed and breakfast situated within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, take-aways, and the well-known Rolyats Shopping Centre, a favourite with locals. Although centrally located, Natalia Lodge offers peace and tranquillity, far enough away from the main streets so guests can stay and relax in the peaceful surroundings.
Each of our units features its own private entrance, DStv, electric blankets and additional blankets for the cold Kokstad nights, tea and coffee-making facilities, and complimentary soap and shampoo. Towels are provided and the rooms are fully serviced. A fully breakfast is offered, which can either be served in your room or eat-out and secure parking is also provided.
Kokstad is a gateway to the Eastern Cape, Lesotho, Matatiele and Underburg from Southern KwaZulu-Natal, and is nestled in the mountains of East Griqualand. The town is named after the Griqua chief, Adam Kok III, who settled here in the 1860s.
The nearby Mount Currie Nature Reserve offers scenic walks as well as bird-watching and there is also excellent trout and fresh-water fishing in the area. Alternatively, the nearby Ingeli Forest Lodge offers superb walks, eating and family fun.
