Wonderful by

Our stay at Nkonkoni Fishing Camp was amazing. We were met by a competent friendly host. All our needs were seen to. The tented accommodation was perfect. We will definitely return

very disappointing by

When enquiring the previous week about slipway facilities, I was told that there is a slipway to launch from, on arrival I was told that the slipways were not functioning due to low water level, they could of told me that when I enquired the previous week! Then...at the gate there are signboards warning against wild animals, but when enquiring about game viewing routes, I was told there are none...and no animals! so whats the point of the signboard at the gate then! Very very disappointing indeed.

Poor experience by

Unlikely to return. "Slipway" miles from the camp with the present dam levels and basically nothing more than a graded dip in quicksand just past the high and dry pump station. Very muddy and difficult launch. Didn't even try recovering boats there and took them out at Jozini Tiger lodge.
Understand the challenges due to expecting (hoping) for water levels to increase but felt actual status wasn't openly communicated. Not family friendly but still ok for all male fishing parties.
