This unique two bedroom family home sleeps six, depending on configuration of occupants. We offer a beautiful setting in which you can relax and shake off the city slumber, tucked away in the indigenous forest.

The upper level consists of two rooms. The master bedroom has a double bed as well as two small beds suitable for children. Its full en-suite boasts a beautiful bath with forest views, with an overhead shower and a toilet. The adjacent room sleeps two on two single beds with a small shower and toilet en-suite.

There is a day bed in the lounge as an extra sleeping option. Good quality bedding can be expected. Eco-friendly bath products as well as eco-friendly cleaning products are available, and should be used solely, as the septic system cannot tolerate chemicals.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, minus any high wattage appliances that would deplete the solar power. The kitchen leads out into an open-plan dining area, and spacious, comfortable lounge area. Please note that, due to the solar power, it's best to charge laptops and other devices in daylight, and to keep in mind that the solar power won't support high wattage appliances like hairdryers or toasters.

The house is situated in a private nature reserve, home to abundant bird and wildlife. The 800 metres enchanting forest walk (on a wooden boardwalk) from the car park, as well as the steep stairs leading to this unique home, are well worth it. Please note it is not wheelchair friendly and children will need to be watched, as the steep stairs and balconies on both floors are not child proof.
