Nomad Tanzania - Chada Katavi

Chada Katavi is one of four safari camps located within the Katavi National Park. The camp offers all inclusive accommodation ideal for families, couples and groups who seek to experience a unique and pioneering African safari.

The camp consists of six tents set on raised platforms with private bathrooms. Each tents has a seating area in front of the tent where guest can enjoy their morning coffee and watch the sun rise over the bush veld. Activities include game drives, walking, bush picnics and bird watching. The camp site has a library, bar area and dining area open to guests.

Solar power is provided for the rooms mainly for lights. Phones can be charged in the library on request. There is no cell phone reception at the camp. There are limited laundry facilities onsite with basic ironing done with a coal iron.

Rates include all activities including game drives and walking safaris; scheduled road transfers to / from the Ikuu airstrip, all drinks except champagne and premium wines, and laundry.

The rates exclude Tanapa Park Entry fees, flights, gratuities, champagne and cellar wines, items of a personal nature, insurance, flying doctors and medical evacuation.

Chada is closed 14 November to the end of May.
