Norfolk Pine Gastehuis

Norfolk Pine Guest House is located on the beautiful Mnandi plots in Centurion; we are not in town and yet not out of town, just 3 km from the nearest mall. Sitting on our veranda, overgrown by grapes and bougainvillea, guests have a breathtaking view over the Magalies mountain range and can surely be fooled into thinking they are somewhere near Cape Town.

Sitting on the veranda, guests also overlook the pool and the very old tree standing in the garden where they can cool down after a long warm day of playing or working. Sitting on a deck chair under the tree, the mountain is also clearly visible and adds to the relaxing and calming effect that the surroundings offer.

A Cape horn owl pair made their home in our chimney a few years back and have their babies there, and at the right time of year we have up to five owls singing guests to sleep every night. It is a wonderful experience to see the babies on the ground hunting during the evening. We also have a very wide variety of other birdlife, making it a bird-watcher's paradise and a nature-lover's sanctuary.

Our three hectares of land add to this feeling of being in the country, and yet we are only 40 km from Johannesburg, 10 km from Centurion Mall, 20 km from Pretoria mid-town, 22 km from Sandton, and 30 km from Krugersdorp. For holidaymakers there is something for everyone, such as a day trip to Sun City or Pilanesberg Game Reserve, and we are also very near to Monticasino, Krugersdorp Lion Park, the Cradle of Humankind, Voortrekker Monument, Union Buildings, and Melrose House Museum.

The guest house is a popular venue for celebrating special events, and weddings, special birthdays and anniversaries are made so very special when held in such a beautiful surrounding.
