Normann Safari Bush Lodge

Welcome to Normann Safari Bush Lodge; we are situated in the lovely bush, only 1.5 km from the Kruger National Park, and a 10 minute drive from the town of Phalaborwa. In the town, you can find malls, restaurants, banks, a post office, hospital, airport and many other amenities. The beautiful golf course at Hans Merensky Estate is a mere 10 minutes' drive away.

We are a little Danish-owned bush hotel with six twin rooms, all equipped with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. Some rooms are situated in chalets with thatched roofs and others are in the main farmhouse with iron roofs. In addition, we have furnished a family unit with a thatched-roof that comprises two separate rooms that share a bathroom. We cater for everyone and disabled people are welcome as the lodge is built with ramps and walking paths, most rooms are without steps to the doors.

Surrounding the rooms there is a swimming pool, a boma with bar, and a small garden. Out front, one can find a reception where internet access is available, as well as a recreation area and secure parking.

With only six twin rooms, we are a small exclusive bush hotel and it is our intention to stay small and simple. This ensures that we remain focused on providing a family orientated yet tranquil atmosphere, while providing an optimised service and experience for our guests.

A wonderful highlight of this experience is being able to enjoy the bush right on your doorstep when a variety of birds, impalas and warthogs can be seen coming for a drink at the waterhole situated just beyond the garden.
