The Nyathi Rest Camp is ideal for guests who want to enjoy all that Addo has to offer, from a more secluded section of the Park.

Nyathi is set on the banks of a floodplain, with each unit providing a spectacular view thereof from their bedrooms and/or lounges thanks to wide open glass panels.

The rest camp consists of eleven units: eight two-sleeping units, one four-sleeper unit and two family units which sleep six each.

The architecture is inspired by the African culture, while the décor inside the units takes its cue from the round leaves of the spekboom ? which is abundant throughout the park. Copper pipes and taps also give the units a more authentic feel.

On a warm day, guests may step onto their individual wooden decks to enjoy the sights of the animals as they come to drink from the waterhole from the comfort of their own private splash pool ? which is a feature of each unit.

Nyathi Rest Camp was amazing by

I was not aware that the Nyathi Rest Camp was not part of the main camp and that we could not use restaurant facilities in the evenings. Had we known we would have arrived better prepared. Neverless we had a wonderful stay.

This is the place to be if you want to see animals in their natural habitatfabulous!! by

Fabulous park, with an abundance of wild life, elephants, rhino, lions, buffalo, plus the birds were spectacular. The Ranger at the park was very welcoming, respectful and more than helpful. We will be back next year.
