Nyati, Chui en Simba Bandas

Nyati, Chui and Simba Bandas are self-catering bandas or chalets located in the Amboseli National Park, Kajiado District, of the Rift Valley Province. The park is 230 km from Nairobi and lies close to the Tanzanian border with magnificent views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.

The bandas each comprise a bedroom, a bathroom, a lounge area, and a kitchen. Each unit contains twin single beds, and the bathroom features a shower and toilet. The small yet comfortable lounge areas include two chairs. The kitchens are well equipped and each contain a gas stove, fridge, cutlery, crockery, and glasses. Blankets, bed linen, and complimentary toiletries are provided. A caretaker is available.

The park offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru, and large elephant herds are often viewed in an unusual swamp habitat. More than 425 species of birds have been recorded, and plenty of wildlife species can be spotted including lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, zebra, hippo, black rhino, Maasai giraffe, oryx, wildebeest, gerenuk, impala and Grant's gazelle.
