Built in 1861, McGregor's most photographed landmark is a heritage protected building for a reason. This grand lady boasts original high ceilings, sparkling crystal chandeliers and wooden shutters. Each of the three king-sized rooms is individually decorated, luxuriously appointed and offers modern en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Guests can relax in a beautifully furnished lounge. Sherry and chocolates are provided and a complementary range of espresso, coffee, tea and home-baked rusks is available throughout the day.
A two course breakfast is offered each morning. Guests are invited to take their meal in the formal dining room, on one of the garden patios or at the pool.
Home made croissants and jam or muffins are followed by seasonal fruit and a ?cooked to order' hot course. Coffee is hot and plentiful.
The Old Village Lodge offers free wi-fi throughout and off-street parking for all guests. Evening meals can be prepared on request.
