Our Camp Site is situated on a working farm on the banks of the Sonderend River, a peaceful and relaxed setting for a breakaway.

We have 3 wooden self-catering cottages to rent. We also offer 12 camp-sites for tents and caravans along with clean ablution facilities. Each site has a power point, water, lights and its own braai facilities. The lapa can accommodate up to 30 people and can even be hired for private or corporate functions.

Riviersonderend is a small farming village with a peaceful rural atmosphere, situated on the Garden Route between Cape Town and Mossel Bay on the N2, 160 km from Cape Town. The town is an hour away from several beaches and offers the tranquillity of beautiful mountain and river scenery, a 9-hole golf course, and a host of other activities.

The Riviersonderend Mountains that begin at the village and run to Villiersdorp, separate the Breede River Valley from the Cape Overberg and create a beautiful backdrop to the town, with some breathtaking hiking, kloofing and fishing opportunities.

We had a great time! Rain spoiled it a bit, but campsite is beautiful, quiet, well looked after and neat. We loved every minute of our wet and wild weekend! Truly a place to remember and we will definitely be back.

We had a LOVELY stay. Friendly and helpful owners. Cabin was clean and roomy. Bed was comfy and crispy clean.   All cooking utensils was provided. Plus clean towels and even Fire wood and blits!! (a Webber braai plus another braai just for a wood fire). River and area is beautiful!! We will be back!!! Thank you.
