Paradise Dunes offers six self-catering cottages, all with a 180-degree seaview. The cottages are all within walking distance to the beach and is easily accessible, no need for a 4X4.

Each cottage has double or single beds covered with mosquito nets, linen and a fan in every room. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and freezer, a two-plate gas stove as well as cutlery and crockery. There are 'braai' facilities and a verandas with table and chairs. Daily cleaning services are available and there is a night guard. The cottage has a generator for backup power.

There is a fresh produce market and small grocery shop available in Tofo where necessities can be purchased.

ATM available at filling station 3kms out of Tofo.

Electric shock stay by

My name is Nirza. I booked a 1 night at Paradise Dunes.
I had wonderfull view and lanscape in a dirty place.

When I was on my way to Paradise Dune my GPS was taking me to somewhere else. I tried to call to the RSA number which took me to the mail box. it took us around 40minutes asking people, driving back and forth to reach the place.

then, when we finally arrived we saw plates with the room numbers but nothing regarding reception. the lodge also has a sign with a phone number written there. we called and no answer at all in that number.

After ask some guests we found someone from the lodge to help us. this guy provided the room for us (number 1), without a key. we went out for dinner and asked for the key and non-key provided.

the sheets in my room were not clean. had clearly a dirty spot on it.

the dangerous part!

on sunday, around 3AM my husband took a shower and came back speechless, because he opened the shower tap and when tried to close it took an electric shock. he finished the shower and was a gymnastics to close it. in the morning I was preparing the breaksfat in the kitchen, and the same happened. we had to switch off the power board to avoid more electric shock. From 9AM we called the guy from the reception, only at 11:30PM he came with the person encharged to say they would call to the electrician!!!

all of us (4) took cold shower. Myself hate and I´m afraid of cold water, specially in winter or fresh temperatures (as was the case this weekend).

we were considering to stay one more night has it was a long weekend, but we declined the option for that place and moved to another one.

Establishments response:

There was an electrical problem and it was sorted at 14:00 that afternoon. It was the soonest the Electrician could assist us.
The direction problem was sorted with the coordinates updated on listing.
Support to guests were also addressed to be more promptly
