REPLIES TO REVIEWS: KEEP US INFORMED. 1) During times of extreme heat and drought in the bushveld, insects are drawn to any source of water one of which is the septic tank systems in the houses. When this happens, a temporary outbreak or infestation of insects may occur. This happens mostly with ants, termites, cockroaches and flies. When these infestation occur, we spray poisons that are specific to the infestation. As Marloth Park is a conservancy, we are restricted to the use of poisons that have a short biological lifespan and has no secondary impact on animals that may ingest the insects. Infestations tend to spread quickly as the insects reproduce mainly when they have a food and water source. Please let the caretakers know immediately you see an infestation and it will be sorted out immediately.
