Pepper Tree House is nestled in the trees, high on the slopes of Lion's Head, in a quite cul-de-sac, with spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean and seaboard.

The airy, spacious bedroom is located upstairs with gorgeous views of Robben Island and Table Bay, enjoyed from its private balcony.

The downstairs living area opens onto a large, sunny patio where you can lounge in the dappled shade of a Pepper Tree. The sea views and gas barbeque makes the patio ideal for some al fresco relaxation and dining.

Pepper Tree House is private, gated and secure, with secure parking for one vehicle. It has air-conditioning, TV with DStv, free Wi-Fi and is a few minutes' drive from Camps Bay and Clifton; two of Cape Town's top blue flag beaches.

Walking routes on the slopes of Lion's Head and Table Mountain are easily accessible. A variety of famed restaurants and shops, including the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront are in close proximity.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pepper Tree House. It is nice to stay in a cottage with it's own terrasse and awesome sea view instead of a small apartment with a small balconie. Fresnaye is a quiet suburb with direct access to hiking trails along lion's head and devil's peak. You have also easy reach to the beaches of camps bay, the Waterfront and the city center of Cape Town. The hosts are wonderful and helped us a lot to explore the hidden gems of the city. Thanks for that again Karien and Robert!

A home from a home by

We stayed a Pepper Tree House for a week at the end of January and had an amazing time. The accommodation is beautifully furnished with your own private patio with deck chairs and a braai. It is very quiet and the views from the upstairs balcony are awesome. Our hosts were there when we needed them but otherwise almost invisible. We truly felt at home and can warmly recommend Pepper Tree House.

We had a pleasant stay at Pepper Tree House, however, there was an issue related to the parking. On the website it says, "Pepper Tree House is private, gated and secure, with secure parking for one vehicle."  Shortly after arrival we were informed to park in the street and make sure nothing is left in the car.  We queried this, and the owner then allowed us to park behind the gate.  This was a disconcerting experience.  The owner should be sure of the conditions of the accommodation.  In the kitchen, a carrot scraper and a small knife (to cut an apple) could not be found.  Also, the drain of the shower was blocked.  Otherwise the rest was fine.
