It has history, charm and bustles to its own beat. One of the oldest buildings in town and around 140 years old it was home to Barnett Perlman a prominent Jewish merchant and his Polish wife, from there the name Perlman House. The original Origan wooden floors and window frames is still visible in some of the rooms and the 140 year old thick stone walls keep the home cool in summer. In winter gather around one of the fireplaces to keep warm. Bring along some wood or buy at one of the local stores to keep the fires going in the cold. Today we offer two (2) self catering units where all expectations are exceeded with loads of carachter and attention to detail. We supply reading materials and board games. We offer to do the necessary bookings for our guests for visits to the Observatory, night stargazing and a restaurant if desired. Private entrance with remote control gate and access to back yard where vehicles are parked safely. Outside firepit area for late night coffees and talks. This property is ideal for family gatherings in the two cottages.
