In 1937 the 'Gunn home' was purchased by the Catholic church and for the next 78 years it was used for services and novitiate training.
Huntly & Anne Knowles purchased the property in 2015 - The house reverted back to a private home and the old nun quarters, outbuildings and certain garden areas were upgraded to create simple, affordable accommodation.
Guinea Fowl is a small unit suitable for the single person, a couple or young family.
It can sleep 4 in two inter-leading sleeping areas and has an en-suite bathroom (bath, shower, toilet, hand-basin).
There is also a kitchenette which is equipped with ironing facilities, basic cutlery, crockery, a microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle.
Outdoor braai facilities are available.
Khoisan House is suitable for a family or groups of individuals.
There are 5 private bedrooms each with their own hand basin. (4x Double beds and 1x Single beds)
There are also 3 lockable bathrooms (shower/ toilet/ hand basin) which means a group could have its own dedicated bathroom.
Communal areas consist of a small lounge, basic Dstv and communal kitchen which is equipped with ironing facilities, basic cutlery, crockery, a microwave, fridge, toaster & kettle.
Outdoor braai facilities are available.
The camping area has five vacant sites for tents or small, two-wheeler caravans.
There are also three pre-erected sites, each sleeping two people: "Dikkop & Plover" safari tents and ?Meerkat? caravan.
Every site has an electrical point and a free-standing braai.

It has two lockable bathrooms (shower/toilet/hand-basin).
There is also a small lounge and a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster & kettle.
Ironing facilities are available.
A fire-pit circle and outdoor wash-up area stand in the middle of the camping area.
Additional showers and a toilet are available if necessary.
