Plum Tree Lodge is a small country guest house located in the village of Himeville near Underberg, KwaZulu-Natal. We offer bed and breakfast, as well as self-catering accommodation in this privately owned guest house. The guest house features three rooms, each individually decorated and comfortably furnished.

Breakfast is served daily in the dinning room and guests are also welcome to relax in the lounge and watch TV or read a book. Speak to our reception staff about arranging a tour to one the many historical sights. The guest house looks onto one of South Africa's World Heritage Sites, the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park and the world-famous Sani Pass, the only access road to Lesotho from KwaZulu-Natal.

It is a beautiful establishment and Nan make us feel welcome from the moment we stopped.

If you want peace, quiet and tranquility, this is the ideal little place! We had the self catering unit on the verandah and were spoiled by Nan, lacking nothing. It was difficult to pack and leave but looking forward to our next visit.

Warm and cozy, exquisitely decorated down to the finest detail, Friendly Host (Nan) in the most beautiful setting. Value for money, for sure!

We loved that it was very clean, it felt safe, beds were very comfortable, water pressure in shower was thé best and all the extra small touches were greatly appreciated. :) only improvement that we can think of is considering DSTV but we weren't there to really watch Tv so the overall experience was great.
