DAY 1
WELCOME!!????????????????????????????
You made it! You are welcomed to Cape Town at the airport and taken to the 5 Star Saltycrax Backpackers in Bloubergstrand. The hostel is within walking distance to bars, restaurants, the beach, shops, and transport terminals. Blouberg is famous for kitesurfing, water sports, and its incredible views of Table Mountain.?????
Spend the rest of your day at the world famous Kite Beach to soak up some sun and capture great views. In the evening, relax at Saltycrax by cracking a cold beer and mingling with locals and many international travellers, as a traditional braai is prepared for your enjoyment.
DAY 2
CITY CENTRE FOOD & DRINKS EXPERIENCE
Truffles anyone? Start your foodie experience with a fresh percolated coffee at Rosetta Roastery, where a coffee tasting is the first order of the day. From hot to cold, next stop is a beer tasting paired with delicious finger food at Devils Peak Brewery, located at the foothills of the iconic Devils Peak Mountain. From here you will travel to Honest Chocolate Café, Heaven on Earth for anybody who has a sweet tooth. A short walk takes you to the next destination, which is Franki Fenner, for a light mouth-watering biltong snack. Biltong is cured meat and a favourite snack in South Africa.
Say cheese! The final stop of the day is at Culture Club Cheese, to taste a variety of some divine locally produced cheese.
DAY 3?
WINE TOUR??????????????
Go on a journey through the beautiful Cape Wine Lands in search of the perfect wine to enjoy during your time in South Africa and to bring home to share with friends and family. Don't forget your camera, as you will be travelling through the beautiful wine regions such as Stellenbosch and Franschoek winelands. Visit four wine farms throughout the day and sample the various wines that they have to offer. You will take a break to enjoy a delicious lunch on a scenic wine farm overlooking the vast vineyards. After lunch, take a tour through a wine cellar and learn how wine evolves from grape to bottle. Be sure to sample some Pinotage wine, a uniquely produced grape varietal that originated in South Africa.?????

DAY 4
TOWNSHIP TOUR and AFRICAN DINNER AND SHOW
You will be collected from the hostel and taken to our local townships to explore the culture and history of local South Africans. Meet the locals, visit a school and drink home made brewed beer.
In the evening, take a taxi down to Richard's Supper Stage & Bistro in Sea Point. Here, experience a 3 course buffet dinner, while being entertained by an exciting musical show ?Kaapse Stories from the Mother City? (?Kaapse? meaning Cape). This one-of-a-kind musical dinner show directed by the award-winning director Basil Appollis will take you on a journey of extraordinary events alongside ?Pa Joe' and his family. The show takes you on a rollercoaster through its blend of humorous storytelling, powerful emotional songs, and charismatic performers unique to only Cape Town.You will then have the option to visit Robben Island (optional extra) or the waterfront in Cape Town city center. ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
DAY 5
CAPE MALAY HOME COOKING EXPERIENCE
The Bo-Kaap district is the todays stop, renowned for its brightly coloured houses and the scent of delectable spices wafting through the air. This is the perfect area to pick up some local spices as you roam the vibrant streets of the Bo-Kaap with picturesque Table Mountain as your backdrop. Meet Gamidah, a local South African who will welcome you into her home with open arms. You will prepare and indulge in a variety of traditional Cape Malay dishes?her love for food and people will encapsulate you as she talks you through the different food items and recipes. The Cape Malay people are known for their vibrant culture that derives from their South East Asia heritage.
