Renovated in 1995, modern facilities were introduced while priceless antique pieces representing the best of indigenous Cape furniture throughout the ages were carefully preserved. Recent refurbishments include luxury comforts and unique modern day artwork by local artists which adorn the walls of this beloved home, comfortably blending contemporary with classic and resulting in a tranquil, inviting atmosphere.

Rooms are luxurious and tastefully decorated and have all the comforts expected of a 4 Star establishment such as DStv, minibars, air-conditioning, underfloor heating, and heated towel rails.

Rickety Bridge Country House offers guests use of our private pool area and in winter months two lounge areas where you can enjoy a glass of sherry in front of the fireplace. Situated on a wine farm, we boast wine tasting facilities and a highly recommended restaurant, Paulina's Restaurant.
