Formerly a ?girl guides' campsite, Rowallan Camp is a picturesque site nestled beneath a massive granite whaleback rock. With quick access from Bulawayo Rowallan is the perfect escape for local and international guests alike; and offers sanctuary in beautiful bush surrounds, just a short way from Bulawayo.

The camp is rustic, but comfortable and well equipped to cater to guests looking for adventure or relaxation, and families are welcome. The camp is currently comprised of six luxury mobile tents, each with en-suite bathroom featuring a hot water bucket shower and flush toilet. The tents offer a refreshing change from a lodge setting for international guests and an exciting option for local and regional guests too.

In addition to the stunning scenic surrounds, Matopos offers a variety of historical, cultural, sport and leisure activities to entertain guests.
