Salt Springs Mara Camp

Located in the Mara Eco-system, at the edge of the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve in an unspoilt area near Musiara marsh, Salt Springs Mara Camp lies perched on top of a rocky hill along the Mara River. Not only does the camp offer the best in holiday hospitality, it also provides a very personalized service, where our local community professionals will give you an unprecedented African wilderness experience.

Salt Springs Mara Camp is the first camp in the larger Mara eco-system to be owned and operated by indigenous Maasai people. As such, we have introduced a scheme to help empower the community, and in particular, the women. The camp provides employment opportunities for local residents and provides space for the women to sell their hand-made products.

Salt Springs Mara Camp offers five spacious en-suite tents, each with hot shower bathrooms and shady, private verandahs, creating an authentic bush camping experience in total luxury.
