Sandstone Sleeper Estate is situated just off the N1 Highway, north of Bloemfontein in the Free State Province. The estate is an idyllic and intriguing country venue situated in the countryside for total peace and tranquillity.

It has its own character and atmosphere with magnificent sandstone buildings finished off with sleeper wood and thatched roofs. With the Renoster Spruit being a mere 100 meters away, our venue will leave a lasting impression on all guests.

As we are practically on the Renoster Spruit and have a small black bass dam on the property, we are ideally situated to accommodate fishing competitions. Our estate, with its unique atmosphere, also lends itself to year-end functions where everyone can enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside.

We had a enjoyable stay at Sandstone Sleeper Estate - Marietjie was an excellent host and she went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Thanks Marietjie - you and your team are the best!

Nice Estate to sleep over by

Very nice place to stay. We enjoyed their hospitality. Big room with everything you can need.

Fishing! by

Stayed for a week, same breakfast everyday ( 2 eggs , 3 rashers bacon, 2 rolls lamb sausage , 2 pieces of toast, 2 apricot jams and a glass of mixed fruit juice) Dining room was locked untill last day ( sat) when other guests arrived at lodge. 3 people in room , some days only 2 towels were supplied. Only bottled water in room on first day.
