Peace and quiet was what we wanted and got. Stunning position. Fantastic views by Yvonne Van Wyk 08 January 2018 Schalkenbosch exceeded all our expectations. The cottage is beautiful - thick stone walls with thatch. It is fully kitted out for self catering. A huge amount of wood is supplied for the outside braai as well as for the inside fireplace. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The view from the window, and the pool by Anna O'sullivan 20 February 2018 Lovely old cottage that we stayed in. The farm had a lovely pool too cool off in and you can walk around the grounds and vinyards as you please. We were greeted warmly and loved the large windows in the bedroom that could be opened early morning.
