A relaxing getaway from the western world, an Umthata Seaview Cottage, a Fisherman's Paradise! Enjoy the company of others around the braai area taking in the beautiful sunsets and the peaceful atmosphere while overlooking the magnificent view of an unspoiled world.

Escape the Western world, and unwind at Seaview Cottage closely located to Umthata River Mouth, a mere five kilometers from the well-renowned Coffee Bay.

Seaview cottage comprises two bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge, and a fully equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms are fitted with a queen-sized bed as well as twin beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and a basin.

Enjoy self-catering in its simplest form, with a fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dining room table where it all comes together. The lounge leads out onto a verandah with braai facilities.

Guests can enjoy activities such as river and rock angling, long walks, scenic hikes, tranquil cycling, bird watching or simply taking in the view of the beach just across the river.

Watch the whales heading south from the beginning of august until the end of November. 4 x 4 or SUV is recommended as roads are fairly rough. Minimum of 2 people is also recommended.

Attractions are numerous in the Coffee Bay / Hole in the Wall area of the Wild Coast and include fishing, hiking, swimming, surfing, cycling, horse riding, quad biking and cultural tours.

There are also guided hikes to Port St John's or Kob Inn. Don't forget about the annual White Clay 21km trail run/walk held during the month of August.
