Seisoen Karoo Retreat Richmond

Seisoen Karoo Retreat was built in 1854 in the historic Karoo style. This old manager's farmhouse is situated in the tiny town of Richmond, in the Groot Karoo, South Africa.

Seisoen Karoo Retreat is a self-catering farmhouse that can accommodate up to four guests comfortably and comprises two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed and an open-plan en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom contains two single beds and a shower en-suite.

The house has a well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals and is fitted with an oven and stove, a fridge, deep freezer, cutlery, and crockery. The beautifully furnished living area opens onto a patio with outdoor dining furniture and loungers, the ideal place to relax and enjoy the Karoo sunsets.

Guests can enjoy mountain biking, take long walks through the village or lie flat with a pile of reading material on the stoep and just enjoy this remote Karoo landscape.

Richmond is a small farm town boasting some of the most majestic landscapes. The gabled farmhouse front looks over the gravel garden and a bevy of small ponds.
