SuperSport Park Centurion and Loftus Versfeld Stadium, which are South African landmarks regularly hosting international cricket and rugby matches, are also closely situated, along with the Centurion Shopping Centre, Centurion Boulevard and the City Lake offering a wide variety of shops and restaurants.

The Transvaal Museum has natural history displays and is the home of Mrs Ples, the australopithecine fossil found at Sterkfontein in the Cradle of Humankind. Also worth visiting is the Cultural History Museum outside Tshwane.
