Shibumi Lodge

Shibumi Lodge is situated right in front of a beautiful lagoon close to Inhambane, Mozambique. We offer five comfortable self-catering houses that are fully equipped for a relaxed stay.

The resort has a beautiful swimming pool for those not wanting to go to the ocean. All the houses have bedding, mosquito nets, braai areas outside and are serviced daily. The houses have no towels. All the bedrooms have air-conditioning. Airport transfers are available and can be arranged on request.

Apart from the beautiful historical town of Inhambane, the main attractions to this area are the idyllic beaches of Jangamo, Tofo, Tofinho and Barra, where the sea lover can take part in a variety of marine activities. It is great for snorkeling, fishing and surfing.

There are many good diving reefs in the area including the aptly named Manta Reef, and Praia de Rocha where the rock and coral have formed a spectacular landscape of pinnacles, gullies and overhangs. There is also the opportunity for dolphin and whale watching safaris.
