Sigurwana

Sigurwana is a fascinating lodge situated in a beautiful setting on top of the western Soutpansberg in Limpopo Province, surrounded by 5,000-hectares of malaria-free wilderness. We offer comfortable thatched chalets, stylishly and tastefully furnished, each with an en-suite bathroom, large outdoor shower and a covered verandah. The chalets have different colour themes and are situated in a beautiful setting, and is a real private affair allowing guests to experience great harmony with nature. With a maximum of eight guests, personal attention is guaranteed.

Wholesome food with wines to match, and a warm hospitality await new arrivals. Dinner can be served in an African boma around a crackling fire, under wide star-studded skies. For reading, writing, or just relaxing, there is a thatched chalet where guests can find a variety of great books and information about wildlife and botany.

Game drives, guided bush walks, spoor reading, birding and photo safaris are daily activities which every guest is free to choose at any time. Besides offering spectacular views, the wilderness area is a botanical paradise with a diversity of more than 320 trees and plants attracting lots of animals such as leopard, caracal, giraffe, zebra, sable, and many other antelope and birds.
