SOHO HOTEL & CASINO AT SUN CITY RESENSIES (60 %) Horrible check-in, awful room by Heidi Van Zyl Wednesday, 29 December 2021 We made a booking on Safarinow. We went to check if everything is in order @ 10:30 am. Our reservation was there, but the booking was not paid by Safarinow. Struggled for hours to get hold of Safarinow. Eventually someone phoned me. The person said they will follow up with their finance department. At 17:00 we went to the hotel to check in. To my surprise, Safarinow still did not pay the Hotel. I paid the full amount of R7015 for the room, 1 night, me, my husband and my 2 little girls. The reception at the Hotel wasn't even interested in assisting us with this problem. I had to pay R7015 again to the hotel to be able to sleep there for the night. And they we're kind of rude. They accepted the booking from Safarinow. They should have at least tried to assist us with sorting this out. This was supposed to be a treat for my family. I gathered that when you pay R7015 for a hotel room you will at least get a decent room, but oh my word, the carpet leading to our room was so dirty. There was a sleeper couch made for the girls. The curtains hasn't been washed for what might be a century. The cupboard in which the fridge was, was hanging on by grace, the fridge inside wasn't working. Most of the lights wasn't working. The soap holder at the bath was falling off the wall. The bathroom was extremely small. The decor in the room was really old and dreary. I will never, after this experience support another Sun International Hotel or Safarinow. We had only one day to spend at Sun City and we spent over 2 hours sorting the booking out. So, eventually I paid R14 030 for the ugliest and smallest hotel room ever. Defrauded out of our accommodation by Tanya Truckenbrodt Sunday, 27 March 2022 Imagine our excitement that we will be staying at a four star hotel in Sun City only to be told on arrival that SafariNow has not paid my R19651.61 accommodation to Soho Hotel at SunCity but has taken my money and has refused to communicate with me on every platform possible and to be blocked via Email as well telephonically, how do YOU think we enjoyed our stay ???
