There is a sunny courtyard with braai facilities, and a lush garden with outdoor furniture. Secure parking is available in a double lock-up garage, as well as extra parking space provided.

Tugela Mouth is a popular destination for fishing, deep-sea angling, bird watching, hiking trails and the annual Tugela River Rafting.

Lovely Weekend! by

We spent the Easter Weekend at 'Sometimes' and really had a wonderful time!

The decor and furnishings are very rustic and varied in theme, but absolutely everything we needed was there - apart from a Lapa!!!

Whilst there are lovely areas outside, there is no shade or protection from the sun until the afternoon. 

This put a bit of a damper on our stay, as we love to be outdoors from breakfast to dinner time. Unfortunately however, the unforgiving Zululand sun just makes it unbearable to be outside until the shade moves over in the afternoon....

The house itself is really spacious and comfortable, and is genuinely a stones thrown from the beach!  If there were more covered entertainment areas we would be back in a flash!

Both the Owners & Caretakers are extremely friendly and communication was always a pleasure.  




Herrliche Aussicht und Ruhe by

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und noch im alten Stil erhalten. Wir hatten einen geruhsamen 2,5 wöchigen Urlaub. Der Strand ist besonders für Angler geeignet. Ein Sicherheitsnetz gegen Haie gibt es am Strand nicht. Eine Angelgenehmigung gibt es in der Postfiliale in Mandini. Dort gibt es auch die notwendigen Geschäfte bzw Supermärkte. Eine Waschmaschine gibt es wegen der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit nicht, aber man kann die Wäsche in Mandini waschen lassen. Das Ehepaar Duddly und Cheryl hat uns sehr freundlich aufgenommen und war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Paddelboot dabei und haben in der Flussmündung gepaddelt. Alles in Allem war es ein sehr schöner ruhiger Urlaub.
