Extremely dissapointing by Nick Crowther 13 February 2018 When we arrived, we had to drive 20mins to retrieve the code for the door, then drive 20 mins back, there must surely be a better way of doing this.
When we eventually arrived, the place was dated and in some part dirty. The appliances were very dated, and that was the theme throughout. I can deal with that if things are clean, but they weren't. The tiling throughout was dirty, as was the grouting between the tiles. The blings were broken in some part and there was a lot of dust. But the reason we left straight away was the bed. When we opened the bed the sheets were stained. There was a brown patch as soon as you pulled the cover back. Sorry speelhuis but we left after that as the whole aldeal and then to find a dirty dated room was too much for us and in our opinion unacceptable. On another note the bed sheets were dated, which there is no need for and the mattress just to sit on was extremely uncomfortable. We advised speelhuis of the lack of communication and drive, and am not writing the review on the rest of our stay, which was only about 15 mins as we left. Farmhouse Directions need to be updated by Yumna Esau 27 February 2018 I love the location.

The only downside was the directions on getting to the Farmhouse.
I hate the fact that I even had to go, all the way to The FarmHouse at all. An it was just to fill in some papers not to get a key at all.
The Directions sent via SafariNow to get to the Farmhouse were confusing and we spent about an hour (if not more) just trying to find it, there are no Signs pointing out The Farmhouse at all. only 1 sign at the corner of the road with no further directions. We were fortunate enough to get directions from some of the locals though.
I suggest adding the actual address next time instead of directions that can be misleading.
Other than the Farmhouse incident, the Speelhuis was a perfect getaway for a romantic weekend. The view - it was stunning! by Riana Engelbrecht 19 March 2018 - at check in could talk about having to switch geyser on

Had a great stay location by Tanya Bell 25 September 2018 patio needs a umbrella or awning, i see they use to have them but was no longer there so afternoon sun gets a bit much when you sit outside. also needs a paint outside but over all it was a lovely unit all you need as a couple.
