7 Night Spread Your Wings Package

Spread Your Wings is a eight-day fly-in safari that starts and ends in Namibia's capital, Windhoek. It travels to Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Twyfelfontein and Etosha National Park. This safari gives participants the luxury of viewing these beautiful places from the road and from the air.

The package includes all transport as per the itinerary's routing, accommodation on a shared basis, meals as specified in the itinerary, activities and park fees as specified in the itinerary, and mineral water.

The package excludes expenses of a personal nature, i.e. laundry, telephone expenses, gratuities and other personal purchases, all drinks, personal as well as medical and evacuation insurance, and any additional activities.

DAY 1 & 2:

From Hosea Kutako International Airport you will embark on a light aircraft transfer to Sossusvlei which is home to some of the world's highest sand dunes. On arrival you will be met by one of your local guides who will transfer you to Sossusvlei Desert Lodge. Nestled deep in the heart of Namibia's ancient Namib Desert the lodge is a secluded and serene oasis that overlooks awe-inspiring dunes and stony outcrops. A world of vast spaces, endless horizons, and rugged mountain heights. The utter tranquility and extraordinary clarity of light make this area one of Africa's most compelling landscapes.

Two overnight stays at Desert Homestead Outpost - dinner, bed & breakfast and two excursions.

DAY 3:

Today's flight will give you an aerial view of the majestic dunes surrounding Sossusvlei. Proceed along the coast over Conception Bay, Sandwich Harbour and its famous lagoon, to Swakopmund. This quaint desert town with its old-world charm and relaxed atmosphere hedged by desert and sea is enhanced by lush green lawns and palm trees.

Overnight at Strand Hotel in Swakopmund or similar - bed & breakfast.

DAY 4 & 5:

This morning you have the choice between two morning activities. Embark on a Living Desert Tour in search of Namibia's ?Small 5' or choose to go on a catamaran cruise from Walvis Bay to encounter dolphins, seals, and various other Namibian marine wildlife. At midday we board our small aircraft for our charter to Twyfelfontein. After check-in at the camp we enjoy an afternoon excursion to Twyfelfontein. The following day we embark on a morning drive in search of desert elephants.

Overnight at Camp Kipwe or similar ? full board and two scheduled activities.

DAY 6 & 7:

After breakfast take a transfer to the airfield for your flight to a private game reserve bordering the Etosha National Park. Upon landing at Ongava's private airstrip your rangers already await you and will transfer you to Ongava Lodge. Ongava Lodge is situated along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park in the privately owned Ongava Game Reserve. Ongava is the ideal place from which to base your activities when visiting Etosha. The following morning we embark on a morning game drive in the Etosha National Park. After a light lunch and a siesta back at the lodge we explore the Ongava Reserve on an afternoon game drive.

DAY 8:

Today we fly back to Windhoek in time for check-in to your outbound flight.
