Station House

Also, even though we have been told that the house was cleaned on the morning before our arrival, it was very dirty.  It seems like there is someone staying there permanently who just moves out quickly over the weekend if guests are coming - they also have a dog.  I gave the floor a quick sweep and a heap of dog hair and sand was swept up. We took our own pillows which was covered in dogs hair just from being in the bed, which makes me wonder if the linen was even washed. The fridge had half empty wine bottles and food in, the shower and bathroom had someone else's toiletries in, the cupboards someone else's old shoes. It just felt filthy. And to top it all the neighbors' chickens crowed all night and we hardly slept.  The house is well equipped though.
