The Steam Inn Pub and Grill is well-situated on an escarpment in the Lowveld. This charming, typically English pub offers accommodation, a bar and restaurant in Waterval Boven. Established in 1898 as a railway depot, Waterval Boven is Dutch for ?Above Waterfall' and is named after the waterfall in the Elands River. The area is rich with historical sites and the village is nestled in the Drakensberg Mountains. Horse riding, trout fishing and hiking are popular activities in the region.

Each of the double rooms contains twin single beds, that can be made up together as a double bed on request, as well as an en-suite with a shower, hand basin and toilet. Room facilities include tea and coffee-making facilities, heaters in winter and fans in summer. Breakfast is available on request. The pub and grill offers an a la carte menu featuring seafood, steaks, hamburgers and pizza and is open until late.

The Steam Inn Pub and Grill also makes an ideal venue for weddings and special events and we offer Friday and Saturday night entertainment and on-deck braai facilities.

Hi All

Your place is affordable and good

But you need to improve other things such as

Bed- Dont make single bed a. Double bed we didnt enjoy that me and my partner better buy double bed

Other thing we need TV on the room not watching TV at the bar

Your food is taking so long but its delicious 

Looking forward on that improvement

My son and I stayed for 3 nights and we really enjoyed it. The staff is helpful and friendly while the rooms are spacious and clean. The food and service at the Pub and Grill are great and there's secure car parking at the premises (the local Police station is also right across the street). A big Thank You to you all !
