Stephward Estate

Stephward had its origins back in 1989 when Stephen Van Belkum and Howard Eades bought land to create a holiday getaway for themselves from Johannesburg. They were in the clothing design and manufacturing business which they relocated to the South Coast.

We offer luxury accommodation, including a Honeymoon Suite, in Uvongo on Kwa-Zulu Natal's South Coast. All of the accommodation has secure parking and is situated next to our private lake. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, hot and cold air-conditioning, ceiling fans, fridges, TVs, tea and coffee facilities and hair dryers. Morning breakfasts are served at the pool deck. Information and help on day trips and surrounding places of interest including sea and land adventures, can be obtained from our fully licensed bar.

Honeymoon suites come with complimentary champagne and fruit for Honeymooners!s. We aim to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Stephward Estate prides itself as being a wedding venue, because of the dedication and individual attention that the owners and staff are prepared to give to organise and deliver to make your day a trouble free, organized and happy occasion. Every detail is taken into consideration when we plan and coordinate your wedding.

Our restaurant is both indoor or Al fresco under the enclosed pool deck and offers teas, cakes, quiches and a variety of lunches to suit all tastes. We can individualise functions from milestone birthdays, christenings, kitchen teas, promotional and lunch parties to wakes. All enquiries are dealt with and planned for with our expertise and experience to make the event successful and affordable.
