STEYNSHOOP VALLEY LODGE RESENSIES (80 %) Absolute luxury by Ruan Kruger, South Africa 28 March 2011 An absolute luxury to stay in a huge, spacious room, tastefully decorated with interesting books available. Neighbouring Kashan Lodge offers beutiful mountain walks. We will definitely return for another visit. Weekend Getaway by Franco Olivier, South Africa 14 December 2015 It was our early 1 year anniversary and booked the Valley Suite as they said is was spacious and romantic. We then got put in another unit after asking if it was the Valley Suite. We were very disappointed as it was not the unit I had in mind. Only a day later I realised that we were in the wrong unit. They wanted to rectify the problem with a complimentary bottle of wine, but that was not good enough. They then offered us a free weekend next year in the Valley Suite. I just don't understand how this could have happend as we asked if it was the Valley Suite and they said yes. Very disappointed but worked out well as we received a free weekend .

You really looked after us well.
The breakfast and the chef host were wonderful.
He specially made me a vegetarian meal.
Lebo looked after us well...always smiling.
Pieter and hannelie there 24/7 to help with any issues.
Even out braai was cleaned every day.
And we felt safe leaving out doors open.
