Dear Pam, thanks for having been a magnificent host to us. Our stay at your beautiful house in Kaapsehoop over the Christmas Days was an absolute highlight of our trip through your amazing country. The house was very spacy and comfortable for us eight persons. We all slept wonderful and we all were able do everything what we wanted to do there. The kids could romp around specially on the beautiful lawn while we adults could sit outside on the spacy covered terasse, sheltered from the heavy sun or sometimes from a short but heavy thunderstorm. We could relax, have a beautiful braai, cook, store our drinks and food in the huge fridge and clean our washings so that we were well set up again when we left your beautiful house. Even the surrounding from Kaapsehoop was very beautiful. It looked somehow like Switzerland and we had some beautiful walks, specially to the escarpment, where we had a stunning look over the lowfeld. One of the big advantages of Kaapsehoop is also the closeness to Nelspruit, where we could easy do all our shoppings and to the Kruger Park. It's very easy to enjoy the Krüger Park from early in the morning up to the evening and then easily to return back to Kaapsehoop. When we left Kaapsehoop then, we were totally relaxed and recovered. Again, thank you very much, we have had a very pleasant time and experience. Keep well and please let us stay in contact. With love Hildegard and Wolfram Borgers from Germany.

Fantastic Time by

Hi Pam, Just to let you know we had a fantastic time. Your garden is lovely! The beds had lovely clean towels and soap. The water pressure was good. The shower was fantastic. Everything was neat and clean and Moses was really very helpful. He helped unpack, and made us some lovely pap. Saturday morning he did the dishes. He then helped on Sunday morning? we had a Potjie party and he cleaned up Sunday Morning. We did the usual hike to the Waterfall, and then had a picnic at the Pear orchid ? the kids hiked again back to the source of the waterfall, and then we went to the Cemetery and on to the fufi slide at the horses and then home to a potjie. Sunday we hiked to the escarpment which was beautiful, some paths have changed and the mist came in a little, but the sun burned it all away, luckily there was a cool wind blowing ? lovely and refreshing. We thought we would support the local place ? had some cake and tea quite nice and then popped into the pottery lady. The horses are a bit annoying at the Pear Orchid, it seems that people feed them ? a pity. Of course we adopted a dog for the week-end ? Aloe, she was lovely, slept on the bed with my son ? The Teen-agers had to visit the Cemetery at 12 at night ? but they got bored and were soon home for coffee and brownies? Thanks once again, your place is always a treat to stay at. Cheryl Kunte xxx
