Stoneridge Guest House is nestled on the hills of the Gariep Dam. The guest house overlooks the intriguing, forlorn valleys of the beautiful Bo-Karoo and is centrally located as an ideal stopover for weary travellers as it is located just 40 km north of Colesberg.

Stoneridge offers comfortable and well-appointed accommodation in four luxurious en-suite double rooms. All of our rooms feature air-conditioning, electric blankets, an LCD TV with DStv, tea and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge, an electronic safe, and the complete Du'Val Collection with ample amenities.

There is also a small splash pool in the gorgeous garden and our renowned flirting-with-theatre dining room personifies peacefulness. Stoneridge's stillness and serenity vows to sooth one's distressed spirit.

Homely and inviting by

Michael and Michelle are fantastic hosts, The room was lovely, cosy and comfortable. We got a complimentary chocolate and sherry, as well as coffee on the room. Then a wonderful home cooked dinner and tasty breakfast I the morning before hitting the road. I will definitely stop over again - both on the way to and from the Cape.

Super Stayover by

The fact that my dog was made so welcome and a complimentary sherry night cap made all the difference for me.Michelles hospitality is the cherry on top.

Disappointing by

In spite of being a clean and very nice facility, the reception wasn't very friendly. Unfortunately the manageress was unhelpful and unfriendly over the phone in two conversations and unwelcoming when we arrived. She could now assist us with finding a place for supper. Breakfast was included in our rate, but we could not stay until 7:30 when she could offer it. She should have offered a take-away breakfast pack seeing that we paid for it. On earlier enquiry for two more rooms by family members they were told it was fully booked for the night. On arrival we were the only people staying at the establishment. All the other rooms were empty. I feel sorry for the owners, because this manageress is causing their place a lot of damage.

You arrived here with the aim of giving me a bad review.
You had to pay Safari Now twice because you wanted to only pay for a two year old boy.
Your son is 16 years old, an adult.
I even offered you a discount and you said no your booking with Safari Now and then put the phone down.
All bookings will be cheaper if you fill in the details incorrectly.
No need to be nasty.
