Sunny Rock is hidden within the beautiful natural surrounds of Southbroom, which is situated on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, 10 km from Margate, and just 75 minutes' drive by freeway from Durban International Airport. A daily flight into Margate Airport allows easy access from all of the country's major towns.

Sunny Rock offers a great opportunity for a satisfying, relaxed holiday to spend with the whole family and friends or business colleagues. We offer beautiful, peaceful, fully equipped two- and four-bedroom units. Our four-bedroom unit can accommodate up to eight guests and consists of four double beds and sleeper couches. The unit is equipped with an open-plan kitchen, two bathrooms and two living rooms, both with DStv and DVD Players, ceiling fans and private verandahs. The two-bedroom units contain one living room equipped with a TV, DStv and DVD Player, a small kitchen, a bathroom with shower, two bedrooms upstairs with ceiling fans and a private, wooden deck.



For those who love the outdoors, there are braai facilities, a large lapa, a boma, a sparkling swimming pool and an outdoor shower. Sunny Rock is very secure and has safe parking on the premises.

Southbroom takes great pride in their wildlife and natural setting. The main Southbroom beach is about 2 km away. Southbroom also has two other beaches which are a bit more private.

Wonderful time spent with family, nice to have had the privacy and place to ourselves. Will recommend to friends and family.

Sunny Rock by

We did not really find the unit we stayed in very comfortable. The kitchenette is very small and when you want to wash dishes or cook , you have to close the door to get access to the basin and 2 plate stove. This makes it very uncomfortable especially in summer. The freezer space is very small and will only really hold a 1.5kg bag of ice. Privacy is also a problem as the units are next to each other and the pool is literally on your doorstep. The units are expensive for what they offer.
