Only two and a half hours' drive from Cape Town, inspired by the rugged West Coast shoreline and the rolling waves breaking onto the white beaches of Lamberts Bay, is a guest house nestled in the heart of this charming West Coast town. Sybille Accommodation is an upmarket guest house that offers five en-suite bedrooms, each with television, tea and coffee-making facilities, heaters, and fans. Each room is decorated in a luxurious style to make you feel pampered and right at home. A hearty breakfast is served in the sun-splashed dining room. Relax in the lounge or enjoy our beautiful garden where you will hear the waves breaking and smell the sea air. Nearby activities include quad bike trails, deep-sea fishing, 4x4 trails, a golf course, and walks along the unspoilt beaches of Lamberts Bay. During the months of August to November nature puts on a display that cannot be imitated ? it is of course flower season. The veld in and around Lamberts Bay becomes an explosion of colour that stretches as far as the eye can see ? one of nature's true marvels that should be a sight-seeing priority for every seasoned traveller.

SYBILLE AKKOMMODASIE RESENSIES (80 %) Accommodation by Juliette Lodewyks, South Africa 14 February 2011 Unfortunately we did not have too great a stay at Sybille Guest House. It is a great place as per there website but the room (Room 5) that we were allocated was not great. The quote we received said for a double en-suite room for 2 persons. The booking that Sybille Guest House had was for 2 double rooms with double beds. Therefore 2 rooms were allocated against Lodewyks. We eventually ended up in Room 5 and the other room (room 2) was kept for the other Lodewyks couple that they thought was still arriving. The advert states that all rooms have the following facilities: Bar Fridges in Rooms, two - pronged plug point available, MNET and communal DStv in Rooms. Unfortunately none of the above was in room5. Room 5 also has no door on the shower, toilet area and the shower was not very clean. There are beads hanging in the doorway and it was needless to say a bit embarrassing. We had brought food that required a fridge but unfortunately had to give it away as there was no place to put the food. The bed is extremely squeaky and with every turn you wake up and we therefore did not have a good night's rest. After breakfast on Sunday morning we were asked about where the other Lodewyks couple was and we said that we only booked 1 double room. Then we were shown the room (Room 2) that they had originally booked us against. What a beautiful room. Bright and sunny, facilities as per the website. We were a bit disappointed that as we had not been allocated the original room. Even if Lappies thought there was another couple arriving why not allocate on a first come first arriving basis? The establishment was not full. There was only 1 other room occupied and we therefore cannot understand why we were allocated Room5 which should actually be the ?emergency? room for people who arrive without a booking. I can understand why the website does not reflect any pictures of Room5 as it is dark and gloomy. Also the balance owing was R240.00. When we got there we were charged R250.00. Yes we should have only paid R240.00 but as we did not have any proof with us and we couldn't remember the balance off hand so we paid the R250.00. The advert also says 5 Sybille Street and the accommodation is actually 14 Sybille Street. Thank fully there was nobody home when we knocked at No5. I think besides being overcharged by R10.00, we were also over charged for Room 5. Room 5 is definitely not worth the advertised price. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent. Great by Wayne Smith, South Africa 12 April 2011 We had a wonderful stay at Sybille. The owner, Lappies, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He greeted us at the door and showed us three apartments and we could choose which one we wanted. I just want to thank him and would recommend Sybille Guest House. Breakfast was good. Weekend Away Stay by Tiffany Down, South Africa 07 March 2016 My boyfriend and I stayed at Sybille Guest House this following weekend, and we absolutely loved it.The room was beautiful and clean and Sybille's hospitality was delightful and her breakfasts were delicious.
We would recommend Sybille Guest house to any one looking for a relaxed weekend away.
