Tambarina guest house is set in the historic town of Komatipoort, just off the Maputo Corridor. This tranquil homestead is within close proximity to the world renowned Kruger National Park.The guest house features four comfortable en-suite rooms all furnished in a rustic fashion. The set and design of the establishment is of Portuguese style and so is the magnificent food offered here. Tambarina is known for the unique way in which the prawns and seafoods are prepared. Tambarina is located conveniently just 8 km from the Kruger National Park; an area rich in wildlife and home to the famous Big 5.

We love Tambarina, it is the best stopover in Komatiepoort on your way to Mozambique. It has lovely décor, and is clean and fresh. The restaurant is on par with Sandton and Cape Town!

A fantastic place by

If you ever visit Komatipoort please make sure that you make a booking at Tambarina. We had a super time there and enjoyed our stay tremendiously. Fantastic hosting and and the place is very neat and inviting. Close to all amenities and a warm and welcome feeling every time we arrived at our little haven. Fantastic... We will definitely go back and will tell our friends to do the same too. Do make sure to eat at he restaurant too. Excellent food , service and atmosphere. A perfect place to be.

Emma, thank you for being so welcoming and understanding. Lovely accommodation with comfortable beds. Great halfway stop to Mozambique. We'll be back.

Lovely comfortable overnight stay by

Spent one night there on our way home from Mozambique. Room was clean, neat and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly and restaurant was superb! Food and service excellent.
