TENDA TORA LODGE RESENSIES (88 %) Fantanstic Stay by Jensen Bjornstad, South Africa Tuesday, 22 December 2009 Our stay at Tenda Tora was more than we expected. It was comfortable, clean, well equipped and well located. Tendo Tora is located just at the crest of the hill, so it offers breath taking views of the lagoon, where you will spend most of your time.
The local market was great and offered all the needed perishables. For a real african experience on a real african coastline, Bilene is an amazing place to be. Romantic Honeymoon by Esmari Theunissen, South Africa Monday, 22 February 2010 We spent 7 nights of our honeymoon at Tenda Tora!!! It was absolutely great. We drove around and spent time at so many places in the surrounding areas. We had great fun! Lots of sun and water! But the stay at Tenda Tora was exquisite! Clean, beautiful rooms and you feel absolutely at home!

It is located a away from the lagoon, elevated on a dune with a great view and a cool breeze blowing most of the time to cool the hot summer days down a bit. The town is within easy walking distance. Being a second time visitor i noticed minor maintenance issues building up, fridge, bulbs etc, Restaurant a great facility but lacks something. its dead. needs some attention or new idea A wonderful stay by Nerika Malan 05 July 2018 We easily found at Tenda Tora, and although we were somewhat disappointed by how far away the beach was, the view from out front porch made up for it. Tenda Tora is quite a walk from the beach, but it is very easy to drive to any of the beach front resorts. These resorts are mostly welcoming to any tourists who wish to make use of the beach. Tenda Tora is situated between the fresh water lake and the salt water lagoon. From our front porch we could see the mouth of the ocean.
The houses are clean, and although we had a few hiccups at the beginning of our stay (e.g. broken DStv dish, broken shower, empty gas bottle etc.) the staff was helpful and eager to get everything fixed as soon as possible. The lodge has a few staff members that are willing to do your shopping, negotiate prices and buy and clean fish. A special thanks to James, Julius and Las Vegas for always being so helpful and friendly.
I would like to suggest that the kitchen equipment be checked more often. One medium sized pan is not enough to accommodate 6 guests. Some of the knives were missing handles and one or two large bowls for serving food would help a great deal.
Overall, we had a great stay and a fantastic holiday. I would definitely visit Tenda Tora again, and I would recommend it to friends and family. TENDA TORA LODGE LIGGING
