The shower water pressure in room 4 is not good.

The location is fabulously central, a few blocks from the beach. Beautiful balcony with view of the sea.
Overall good facilities.

Due to the upstairs wooden floors I would not recommend this venue for children under 12 - we had a rather unpleasant aggressive encounter with the owner regarding 6:30am noise levels with two 3 year olds.

Establishments response:

Bridget's friend, who arrived first, booked in and informed me that Bridget would be making the payment when she arrived. She failed to do the payment upon arrival nor did she sign in. It is accepted practice for all guests to sign the attendance register and for payment to be done upfront.

The cordial atmosphere was however strained by the fact that my wife spoke nicely to the guests children early in the morning about the noise the children were making while playing without adult supervision on the staircase landing above a room below occupied by other guests.
In the course of this playing the children ripped the fairly robust wooden safety gate off its hinges at the top of the staircase this issue was also raised.
I undertook to repair the gate.

I approached Bridget the day after their arrival requesting payment to me which she failed to do in spite of undertaking to do so. I then phoned Safari later in the day to complain about the guests and found out that payment had recently been made to Safari and not to me.

The father of the children adopted a somewhat negative attitude towards me and stated that the gate was not child proof. I found that a bit strange as the gate served its purpose for almost 4 years.

Sad to say but these guests failed to observe household rules which are in place, to minimize fraud, for the benefit of other guests and the preservation of the home which serves as our sole source of income.

We have accommodated numerous families with children in the past 2 years without any problems primarily as a result of proper supervision by the parents.
