Welcome to The Beach House.The Beach House is just meters from Shakas Cove marine protected tidal pool and sandy beach the house sleeps maximum 8 people. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The kitchen is fully fitted, open plan living areas which flow out onto the covered veranda and deck with rim flow swimming pool including the most amazing sea views, watch the waves breaking on the beach and dolphins often seen. Parking inside the property, no pets allowed.Attractions in the area include Microlight Flights, and Skydiving, King Shaka Memorial and the Great Railroad Brewing Company plus world class surfing spots.

Disappointing for the price by

Prior to our resevation we enquire about direct beach access from the house. The "short" walk was about a kilo crossing and walking along a dangerous street. Upon our arrival the house was dirty and reqeusted cleaners. Needles to say no response or cleaning service were forthcoming. The cutlery and utencils were definitely old unused items from the owners residence . Various of the lids of the pots were broken and did not even had handles, you had to use a knive to lift the lid. The crockery were chiped and what was left of old unused sets. The house did not even had a microwave and with small children we had to go and buy one. In our 10 day stay the rubbish were never removed, causing a great health risk. Furher you are obliged to look after the owners cat, who clearly longs for its owner (crying about the whole night) It further seemed that the owners were still busy renevating the property. At this particular point in time a rip off and not what you would expect paying R4500-00 per night.
