The Falls Cottages

Luxury meets the country at The Falls Cottages in the beautiful Balgowan Valley. The Falls Cottages are set on a beautiful 22-hectare farm in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, 10 kilometers from Nottingham Road and 800 meters from Michaelhouse.

Accommodation is offered at Serendipity Cottage, which can comfortably accommodate two adults and two children. The cottage has a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a ball and claw bath. The kitchen is equipped with a two plate hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a dining area with a round four seater dining table. The cosy lounge area contains a double fold-out sleeper couch, and a flat-screen TV with a selection of DStv channels and a DVD player. The cottage has a wood-burning fireplace, and firewood is provided throughout your stay.

The cottage opens to a sheltered verandah with outdoor furniture and braai facilities. The garden is fully fenced allowing the cottage to be pet friendly, by arrangement. The cottage is serviced for your convenience. Your host resides in a separate cottage on the property, The Falls Cottage, and is available to assist with any queries you may have.

Guests can explore our stunning waterfall on the farm, browse the Renaissance Antiques and Decor shop, or enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant, Mini Me Patisserie and Bistro. We can cater for special occasions and team building, or romantic picnics at the waterfall. The Falls Farm provides a professional team for all your private and corporate requirements.
