The Beachcomber offers four en-suite bedrooms with overhead fans or air-conditioning and mosquito nets. The two downstairs rooms also have an extra bed that can double as a seating area. The large open-plan living area offers plenty of comfortable seating and leads to a covered terrace with a plunge pool and dining area. The dining room has a large bar and the upstairs TV room is equipped with a satellite TV and DVD player, but no movies are supplied.
A large swimming pool is surrounded with cosy loungers and sunbathing areas. The house is also situated within walking distance of the beach. The Beachcomber is fully staffed including an excellent cook, a housekeeper and a night guard.
Watamu Marine National Park allows all visitors easy access to the spectacular undersea life with exceptional snorkelling and diving conditions. Several companies provide deep sea fishing and Watamu is renowned for its fishing competition and events. The Arabuko-Sokoke Forest is another unique place to visit near Watamu. It is one of the largest stretches of Brachystegia woodland on the East African coast and has no less than six endangered species of bird of which three of them are endemic to the forest. The little golden rumped elephant shrew is a giant shrew that has only been identified in a couple of locations in East Africa.
