Perched on the Mountainside of Fish Hoek overlooking the beach, sea and mountains you will find The Berry Basket. There's a choice of two lovely apartments, both having spectacular sea views and a lovely deck to sit and sip on a refreshing sun-downer after a hard day at the beach!

It's in a great location too! Three minutes to the beach and five minute stroll to the local shops to stock up. We are also on the train line, again a short six minute walk, for trips through to Historic Simons Town or to the city of Cape Town itself. By car we are a 40 minute drive from town, 20 minute to Cape Point and 10 minute to the dramatic Chapman's Peak Drive.

There are steps up to the apartments, however, once you get to the deck and look out across the stunning False Bay Coast line and beautiful mountain ranges you will be happy you ventured up!

Come and join us, just bring yourselves and your beach towel!

The Manager's husband is also a qualified tour guide and we are happy to be able to offer you a choice of tours or cycle hire and transfers. Best to book those in advance as peak season is very busy.

My Travel mate Heidi and I really enjoyed our stay at The Berry Basket. Judy is a magnificent host, friendly and helpful and we felt we knew her for long. The view was breath taking, and we really felt private the whole 6 days. I can recommend this place to anyone! Beautiful! Clean! Private!

The deck by

We had a fantastic stay. The only thing which could have potentially turned into a huge problem is the fact that there is no partition separating the 2 apartments on the deck/balcony. If the apartment next door had been occupied, we would have been sitting practically on the laps of our neighbours, had we sat outside to enjoy the view. I would definitely go back again, but only if the second apartment is vacant. If both are occupied, there would be no privacy.

Mention how many stairs there actually are, include an oven. Change the very noisy sleeper couches.
