Had a wonderful stay, truly 5 star self catering cottage, lots of amenities, cottage was beautifully laid out incl beautiful surroundings. We were given a warm welcome! Complimentary sparkling wine, flowers and chocolates awaited our welcome. Comes highly recommended!

Best mini honeymoon by

We stayed at the Cottage for two nights after our wedding. It was the best idea we could've had. The cottage has everything you need. Fresh milk, good coffee, mosquito repellent, good quality toiletries, towels, slippers, bathrobes, wifi and much more. The fireplace in the bedroom was a hit as well.
The cottage is very private, with a small garden, patio and pool exclusively for the cottage. It is close to Stellenbosch, but very secluded. It feels like being in the English countryside.

The photos did not do this establishment justice. It is a beautiful place, where every possible need has been taken into consideration. We felt like honeymooners. Thank you for a great stay!

Peaceful retreat by

The cottage was great, and a beautiful place to retreat from the world for a few days - beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, candles everywhere, lovely views of trees from the windows. It was so peaceful walking through the forest, and the drive to and from the cottage was very pretty through all the farmland. I found the bathroom too small - the toilet paper roll was virtually in my lap, and there was no place to put anything down, eg when trying to put contact lenses in. The plug also didn't work and the water drained straight out. Also, having wanted to get away to recuperate and sleep, the road was really busy early each morning, with noise right outside the cottage, so sleep was not a reality. Generally during the day, though, it was quiet and peaceful.
