The Old Stone House

The Old Stone House offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in Kloof; a leafy ?village' just 25 minutes from Durban's beautiful beaches. With its moderate climate, Kloof is situated in the picturesque Valley of a Thousand Hills - well known for the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The main house was built from stone in the late 1940s and features a large rock pool, braai and entertainment area, as well as ample off-street parking.

Pebbles and Cobbles are two self-catering units with their own direct access from the garden. Both have been stylishly furnished and equipped with all required amenities to make you really feel at home. Coffee and tea are available in the room, with a few other surprises that will make your stay unforgettable.

There is a Guest Lounge in the main house which features DStv, a fireplace and is stocked with a large variety of books for guests who want to kick back and relax. The Games Room next to the rock pool offers a pool table, dart board, bar and variety of board games for those who want more excitement.A Farm Style breakfast or a three-course dinner is served on request at the dining area of the main house.

Within a radius of 5km, you will find a Spar, P&P and Woolies Foods for guests opting for the self-catering option. In that same 5km radius guests will have the option of dining out at places like La Pizza Pazza, Wimpy, John Dory's, Su Thai and Bellevue Café. There is also a KFC, Steers, Romans Pizza, Debonairs and other take away options within a 5min drive.Stokers Arms, Woodcutters and Tina's Hotel are popular pubs in the neighbourhood for those wanting to enjoy a few drinks with their friends.
