THE RANCH OVERNIGHT CHALETS RESENSIES (61 %) Poor service by Maria Nel, South Africa 22 May 2013 Arrived after 19h00, and had to wait at gate for someone to show us to our room, and was met by a demand by the security guard, after he had a telephonic conversation with someone, to pay the outstanding balance before being shown to our room. Manager? did not even get out of his car at the gate to greet us and at room simply pocketed the small amount of change when it transpired that we did not have the exact amount needed for payment. Room was poor value for money, small and cramped. Will definitely not stay there again. Their website is somewhat misleading, and it looks far more attractive than what is the case in real life. Pretty area by Johan Coetsee 13 April 2017 Accomdation is sufficient if looking old. It was clean and comfortable though. The aircon was used to deter mosquitoes, but is very noisy. Bit of a hassle getting out as the button opening the gate had to be pushed over 10x before it worked. When arriving also, it took an extraordinary long tome for the intecom to be answered Beautiful surroundings by Nigel Classen 18 April 2017 Only negative is the fact that the entire 6 sleeper chalet is cockroach infested. Only negative point is the shower that wasn't spraying effectively. Never Again by Magretha Vlok 25 May 2018 The room is very very basic and small. No attention to detail or finish. The rooms are next to the road and the noise from the traffic is unbearable.
The only good thing I have to say, it's clean.
