An elegant Victorian house perches proudly above Fort Frederick overlooking the harbour of Port Elizabeth city, built in typical style, she displays glamour.

The Harbour Master's House has been restored to former glory and sports a trendy style. The large downstairs communal areas are spacious with comfy armchairs and bright colours creating a relaxed atmosphere. The bedrooms are upstairs and display a more modern feel. The wrap around balcony on both levels have views over the harbour and bay.

Meals are served in our dining room, which boasts two fireplaces and The Long Table, seating 24! Whether we are hosting an in-period dress up dinner or a more casual communal meal, guests are bound to meet interesting travellers with many an intriguing tale.

It displays works of art and heritage as well as taking in the city's historical sites.
